Ping Eye 2 Wedges

So John Daley and Dean Wilson have been rummaging around their garages to dig out their old Ping Eye 2 wedges. And apparently there has been a rush to Ebay to buy old Ping wedges that pre-date the 1990 Ping settlement with the USPGA. I'd better get out and have a rummage in the garage myself and raid the www.showmethegolf.com store-room. Who knows what might be lurking there gathering dust.

The other alternative is to keep an eye out in charity shops, which is actually where I got my current golf bag from - a classic 70's MacGregor bag. Hardly been used and a total design icon.

So it's back to Oxfam for a root around.

We've gone all environmental

Tim, Show Me The Golf's Editor, has had a pang of conscience about golf's impact on our green and pleasant land, so has been looking under the bonnet at how golf courses can be managed in an eco-friendly way.

I buy it.

I feel I would be disloyal to my business partner this morning if I didn't skip the golf this morning - it's minus something low outside at the moment and there's nothing stirring in my personal golf world - and mention, just in passing mind you - that Leeds beat Manchester United in the FA Cup at Old Trafford yesterday.

Fox News' Brit Hume has been giving Tiger a bit of advice - stop all that Buddhist nonsense

and turn to Christianity for a full recovery. I never knew Jesus was a golfer, although I have suspected

it for some time.
